👑 Meet the Sticker Queen 👑

Hey y’all! I’m Michelle—mom, maker, risk-taker, and self-declared Sticker Queen. I’ve been dreaming in color and doodling my way through life for as long as I can remember, and I figured it was time to pop in and say hello on the blog.

So, here’s a little backstory for those of you just joining the party.

🌵 Born in Austin, Raised Everywhere

I was born and raised right here in Austin, Texas (the land of tacos, live music, and front-porch magic), but I’ve lived in quite a few other states along the way. Life has taken me on all kinds of adventures—some wild, some quiet, all unforgettable—and each stop has added its own layer to who I am and what I create.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family First, Always

I’m a proud mom to three incredible boys, now part of a blended family with two amazing stepkids. I’ve been through divorce, healing, and new beginnings—and came out stronger, fuller, and way more grateful. Our house is loud, messy, and full of heart. Just how I like it.

Also living in our chaos: Willie the beagle (yes, named after the Willie Nelson) and Ruby the lab, who thinks she runs the place. Spoiler: she does.

🛍️ Entrepreneurial Spirit (Since Forever)

I launched Inviting Affairs Paperie in 2007, with a love for paper, design, and that one-of-a-kind feeling you get from something made with heart. Seventeen years later, we’ve grown like crazy and are now in over 800 stores around the world.

Three years ago, I took another leap and opened Pop Shop ATX, a bright, bold celebration of art, small biz, and all things crushworthy. It’s a dream I never knew I needed—and it’s growing every day.

✨ A Little Style, A Lotta Soul

Creativity is in my blood. So is hustle. Whether I’m designing a new sticker collection, rearranging my shop displays, or cooking up something new in the kitchen (yes, I love to cook—I’m always trying new recipes), I do it with purpose and style.

I studied catering and art history in college, which kind of explains why my dinner parties are both delicious and well-curated. I also have an undying love for Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson—two icons who’ve inspired me deeply, in life and in business.

💕 First a Mom, Then a Maker

At the end of the day, my most important roles are mom and partner. But being a small business owner is something special—it lets me take chances I wouldn’t get anywhere else. And when those risks turn into wins? Cue the happy dance every. single. time.

My designs are shaped by the things I see, feel, and experience—real life, big feelings, pop culture, nostalgia, joy. All of it. I try to bottle that up and turn it into something someone will want to hold, use, or gift.

That’s where the magic is.
